Photos of the Day

Today's photos were taken inside a house that was designed Casa Batllo a house designed by Antoni Gaudi. Casa Batlló is a major tourist attraction in Barcelona and for good reason - it's beautiful and typical of Gaudi's genius.

Great photos, Chris! I love Barcelona! I had a great time performing there a few years back. I HAVE to get back there!

Who's the Skinny Gourmet Guy?

An avid home cook, Chris Walsh works at WME (formerly the legendary William Morris Agency). Chris started cooking after he grew tired of the usual fare offered by the delivery places in his neighborhood – not to mention the expense. But it was during a work related trip to the Amalfi Coast in Italy that he got serious about cooking. He took a course there and later in Barcelona and still more in New York City. He cooks healthy meals but also works out every day at the local YMCA to stay in shape.

Prior to NYC and William Morris, Chris worked as a Press Secretary on Capitol Hill – working on the House Banking Committee and later for Senator Frank Lautenberg (NJ). He gave all that up and moved to NYC to pursue an acting career. He worked on SNL for five years and on As the World Turns and One Life to Live. He performed his cabaret act “Escape From Capitol Hill” at a number of NYC venues, including the famous Duplex in Greenwich Village. After that he worked for the Broadway Producers the Nederlanders and on the iconic Intrepid Sea, Air Space Museum.

Today Chris lives with his dog Hubbell and resides on the upper west side in NYC.
